Get ready for an epic Colombian adventure! From north to south, we will explore iconic cities, trek through wonderful landscapes, visit a coffee farm, cruise on a boat, and relax on paradise beaches. Get ready to enjoy the beauties of this country!
Day 1
Welcome to Colombia! Our guide will meet us at the airport in Bogotá and take us to our hotel, where we can relax and get used to the altitude of 2600 meters above sea level. It’s time to grab a bite to eat and enjoy an evening walk through the historic La Candelaria district.
The real adventure starts tomorrow!

Day 2
Today, we’re going to explore the heart of Colombia, up in the Andes, “2600 meters closer to the stars.” We will hike up Monserrate Hill to enjoy incredible views of the city.
Later, we will immerse ourselves in the art of this city. We will walk through the streets and murals of the La Candelaria district, full of color and life. We will visit the stunning Gold Museum and the Botero Museum, and take a walk around Bolívar Square, enjoying the authentic Bogotá scene.”
Along the way, we’ll have some delicious street food, enjoy a traditional coffee and perhaps a dessert for those with a sweet tooth.

Day 3
Time to say goodbye to the big city, the altitude of the mountains, and head to the heart of the jungle. We will arrive in Leticia, the gateway to the Amazon and we will cool off a bit as we start to feel the tropical humidity.
We get on the speedboat, we will sail the Amazon River, and our destination: an indigenous community in the lushness of the jungle, where we will spend the next days. A local guide will introduce us to the rich culture, and we will discover the way of life of the indigenous people and the and the extraordinary nature.
After settling into our rooms, we will visit a Peruvian island, explore the jungle, search for sloths and exotic birds, and learn about local plants. Later, we will take a night hike through the jungle to find tropical amphibians, insects, tarantulas, and hear the mysterious myths and legends of the Amazon.

Day 4
We have breakfast and sail towards the municipality of Puerto Nariño. Here, we will explore two natural reserves where we will find monkeys, caimans, turtles, and exotic birds. We will also try piranha fishing and have the opportunity to see the famous Amazon dolphins: pink and gray.
In the afternoon, we will immerse ourselves in indigenous culture: enjoying dances with the locals and visiting the craft stalls. Afterward, for those who are ready, we can jump into the river and swim a bit.

Day 5
This will be our last morning in Macedonia. After breakfast, we will head out with a local guide for a walk (about 1.5 hours) through the village, taste some exotic fruits, and see how the Amazonian communities live. Then, we will do a bracelet-making workshop with a local instructor to take home a small souvenir.
It’s time to hop on the boat and head back to Leticia. Once we arrive at the port, a tuk-tuk will be waiting to take us on a 1.5-hour trip to the neighboring city of Tabatinga (Brazil). At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Day 6
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll go to the airport for a flight to Bogotá, and then on to Pereira, located in the heart of the coffee region. From there, we’ll take a comfortable minibus to the colorful town of Salento, where we’ll spend the next two days enjoying the slow pace of life in the Colombian countryside.
Eje Cafetero, or the Colombian “coffee axis,” is famous for its beautiful mountainous landscapes, lush vegetation, coffee plantations and charming traditional villages. In 2011, this area was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List and is considered by many to be the most beautiful region in Colombia.

Day 7
In the morning, we will get on the famous Willys jeeps, a traditional form of transportation, to head to the Cocora Valley. This place is famous for the wax palms, which were designated as the national tree of the country. They are the tallest palms in the world, reaching heights of 40 to 60 meters.
Depending on the route we choose, our walk through the Cocora Valley will last between 2 and 6 hours. For an additional fee, we can also ride horses along the route and visit the Hummingbird Sanctuary.

Day 8
After the Cocora trekking, we deserve a stop at the Santa Rosa del Cabal hot springs. It’s time to relax, rest, and take care of our bodies thanks to the healing properties of the water. This is because they are rich in sulfur, which comes from the volcanoes.

Day 9
We’ll drive to Pereira and then head to Medellín – the City of Eternal Spring (average tº 27 degrees). This city is loved by tourists and expats from around the world.
Why do people like Medellín so much?
The answer is that it’s a city full of life with museums, delicious restaurants, parks, and clubs with great dancers. And let’s not forget the most amazing part: it’s all surrounded by beautiful greenery and mountains.
We will walk around one of Medellín’s coolest places: Comuna 13, a neighborhood that showcases the history of Colombia’s civil conflicts, mixed with colorful street art, dance, and culture.
In the afternoon, we’ll see the city from above by taking the Metrocable, a special cable car that takes people up the mountains to remote neighborhoods.

Day 10
Today, we’ll take a full-day trip to nearby Guatapé, known as the most colorful town in Colombia. Our goal for the day: to climb to the top of El Peñol Rock. After about 700 steps, we’ll be rewarded with an almost otherworldly view: amazing green mountains and blue lakes.
In the afternoon, we’ll take a cruise on the lagoon, where we’ll see the ruins of Pablo Escobar’s former villa and some impressive haciendas .On our way back, we’ll stop by a local coffee plantation, where we’ll learn all about how coffee is grown and produced and of course, we will taste it.
In the evening, we’ll catch a flight to Santa Marta on the Caribbean coast.

Day 11
It’s time to return to nature! Tayrona National Park is an absolutely magical place on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. The park’s nature is beautiful and diverse: mountains, rainforest, and the sea with beautiful golden sandy beaches.
We will head to the park early in the morning. After arriving at its entrance, we’ll take a hike of about 3 to 4 hours, which will end with a break at the beach. Finally, we’ll return to the city by boat to have dinner and rest.

Day 12
In the morning, after breakfast, we’ll drive along the beautiful Caribbean coast (about 6 hours by private bus) to Cartagena de Indias – the Caribbean’s top tourist spot.
Today, Cartagena is not just about history, it also has plenty of pubs, bars, art galleries, and a unique Caribbean vibe, which we will enjoy in the evening.

Day 13
Cartagena de Indias is a city with centuries of history, once a Spanish colony and one of the most important ports in the region. A reminder of this period is the charming colonial old town. During a walk with a local guide, we will learn about its fascinating history and visit the most important monuments.
Cartagena de Indias is a mix of history and modern life, with beautiful beaches, vibrant streets, and delicious food. In the evening, we’ll experience the city’s lively Caribbean vibe.

Day 14
This is our penultimate day in Colombia, and it’s all about relaxation and luxury! We will sail by boat to the beautiful Rosary Islands, known for its corals and blue waters.
The price includes lunch on the island, a welcome drink, a sunbed, and the option to rent a kayak.

Day 15
After breakfast, we will take one last walk around the city and do some souvenir shopping. In the afternoon, we will say our goodbyes to Colombia and our guide. It’s hard to leave such a beautiful and vibrant country, but will carry the memories of Colombia with us. Then, it’s time for our return flight from Cartagena
